Web Roles
We're always in need of people to help with upkeep, editing, writing, and creating new features for our websites. Working on a website can be a great way to get experience and promote some good causes without dedicating a lot of time.

Assistant Web Masters: help run Positive Christian Woman, Christian Music Place and affiliated Christian sites. Provide technical support, guide designers, write and/or maintain scripts, etc. If you are applying for this role, please provide URLs for sites you've worked on and explain your contribution to the sites by filling out our follow-up volunteer form at http://www.place2b.org/Volunteer_Follow-Up.html.

Forum Moderator: post topics and information in our forums. Remove inappropriate messages. Our forums are automated, so you don't need to know any HTML. If you are interested in being a moderator, first join the forum (you'll get a userid and password). Then send a message through our follow-up volunteer form at http://www.place2b.org/Volunteer_Follow-Up.html and indicate your userid and the forums you would like to moderate.

Writer: write about topics from women's issues to Christian music to serving others. Most writers start by posting articles and information in our forums.

Graphic Artist/Illustrator: designing graphics for our web pages. Requires experience with Illustrator, Photoshop or similar programs. Let us know about your experience level through our follow-up volunteer form at http://www.place2b.org/Volunteer_Follow-Up.html.

Editor: edit a specific section on a website (Make a Difference, Have Fun, etc.), concert reviews, artist bios, etc.

Web Page Programmer: requires some experience with HTML and/or a web editor. Let us know about your experience level through our follow-up volunteer form at http://www.place2b.org/Volunteer_Follow-Up.html

Advanced Programmer: requires some experience with Java, CGI, etc. Let us know about your experience level through our follow-up volunteer form at http://www.place2b.org/Volunteer_Follow-Up.html

Christian Music Planet Promoter: participate in various Christian music e-mail lists, newsgroups, etc. and let people know about the Christian Music Planet.

Quality Control: proof new pages to look for bad links, typos, etc.

Research: Visit various websites and gather information on topics interesting to Christian women. For our music-related sites, visit various artist sites and gather information for our artist directory.

Worship Resource Editor: recommend resources - midi files, lyrics, etc. - for worship.

Concert Listing Coordinator: Make sure concerts in your area by your favorite artists are included at the Christian Events Directory and Concerts, Concerts, Concerts. If you can type, you can handle this job - it's very easy.
