Plan a Pajama Party

This is a very easy party to plan, since all you have to provide is a comfortable space and entertainment options.

Ask each guest to bring her favorite kind of snack food and beauty treatment. Tell your guests to wear their favorite pajamas and slippers.

If you want to go all out, have party favors for each guest or have prizes for winners of the various games. Go to the dollar store and pick up some goofy prizes like first-place ribbons and plastic hair clips.

Activities:

Have games set up to play. Visit your local thrift store and see if they have any juvenile games like Girl Talk or Sweet Valley High. Play them or games like MASH, Life, and Truth or Dare. Or create a scavenger hunt and organize teams to collect various items from around the neighborhood in a certain amount of time.

Do a spa theme and give each other manicures, facials and pedicures. Set up stations around your living room for each beauty treatment.

Menu:

Junk food is a popular choice for sleepovers and requires little or no preparation. Ice cream sundaes are also fun and easy; you could have your guests bring their favorite sundae topping.

Or, if you want to go a healthier route, buy snack-size veggies and fruit.

Decorating Ideas:

Hang posters of Hollywood hunks to remind you of all those ridiculous crushes you had when you were younger.

Streamers are also quite festive and will remind you of your 16th birthday party.
